Awarded a scholarship and graduated from Schoolcreative's 3 year acting program in 2003. Trained and mentored by some of the most respected names in the theatre, film, and voice community in Vancouver, LA, and New York. These teachings in tandem with 18 years experience as a working actor, and acting coach are implemented in classes and private coachings.
Selected by TIFF Rising Stars and Whistler Film Fest: Stars To Watch. In addition to TIFF and WFF, her projects have screened at Fantasia Fest, Blood In The Snow Film Festival, and Berlinale. Her work has received recognition with wins from Young Artist Awards, The Joey Awards, Leo Awards (x2), and Blood in the Snow Flim Festival, with additional nominations from Young Artist awards, Vancouver Film Critics CirclKide, Leo Awards, Fangoria, and Canadian Screen Awards.
Marc-Anthony's teaching and coaching style focuses on making sure your skill set and style are brought forward. I work toward honoring the story as it is told while finding ways to bring your strengths, emotional honesty, and style to your performance.
Julia booked her first professional role at age 12 as a lead in a feature film and has continued to work as an actor playing leading roles in multiple films over the years. Julia brings to her teaching the same keen curiosity, attentive diligence, and passion for storytelling which fuel her own process.
